Spring is a great time to have an adventure, especially if that adventure comes in the form of chess! Those who had previously visited the Gambit Chess Camp had to admit that the 2017 Spring Camp was by far the strongest in terms of chess talent. Players were dozens of First League Players including Candidate Masters, participants from many countries and three strong trainers.
In this top-quality group, it’s not easy. So particular congratulations go to Alexei Mirgorodski and Lew Mann in League 2, Giancarlo Berroa Retamoza and Artjom Schkuratowski in League 3 and Makaria Schkuratowski in League 4!
The daily morning run (at the request of the sports lovers), soccer (at the request of the football fans), and other activities including a hike to Lvov meant that the time flew by.
Thanks go to the excellent hotel with its great family-friendly service. We will be back.
